The Laboratory of Nonlinear Phenomena was instaled in September/1994 with financial support of FAPESP. The main experiment has been the Dripping Faucet Experiment. We have studied the drop formation dynamics of  water drops by measuring the delay time between successive drops. We have observed Flip bifurcations, Hopf bifurcation, Crises, Intermittences, Saddle points, etc. The data has been analyzed by the construction of two dimensional first return maps  Tn+1 vs. Tn, ( see the L of the lab logo) three dimensional return maps Tn+2 x Tn+1 x Tn.
